About a week ago I got a pair of FreshLook ColorBlends Green from EyecandyLens and I've finally managed to try them out!

The lenses didn't come in a vial, but in a blister. Much more practical! I always hurt my nails and fingertips when I try to open the vials.

When you purchase from them, EyecandyLens always sends you a little leaflet with instructions on how to wear circle lenses and take care of them. The drawings on it are just too cute!

Just like every time, the following photos are with flash, because for some reason I can't get my DLSR to make nice close-up shots with natural light. Sorry for that!

I had a bit of a hard time putting these lenses on, probably because they're very thin: they would fold very easily. For some reason, they weren't very comfortable.. I could feel them when I closed my eye. That's strange because their water content is 55%, and that's a lot! What's more, I'm not fond of their colour. It's too bright for me, almost neon green; and it's very opaque as well, so my natural iris didn't show at all. I enjoy the natural design, though. They give a minimum enlargement effect (so I don't understand the utility of a huge transparent outer rim, as you can see in the following photo). Anyway, they don't look very natural. I usually like very natural, sheer lenses, so I really have mixed feelings about these!
