Some time ago I received a few Chanel samples in a beauty shop and decided to give them a try. I was supposed to use Hydramax + Active at day and Hydra Beauty Serum at night. The first thing that completely got my attention was the smell of the serum - a mix of fresh white flowers that completely blew me away. I tried the two products on for a few weeks until the samples lasted and unexpectedly they worked, leaving me completely astonished because it's quite rare finding a product that works on my troubled skin! I have a combo skin - it gets oily at the end of the day but if I use cleansers that are just the tiniest too harsh, it will get dry spots. It really drives me crazy, but I think I found a solution to my problems with Chanel - at least temporarily!
My skin literally glows a few seconds after I apply the moisturizers; it feels super soft and smooth as well. After some days that i started to try the samples, i had less red spots, impurities and imperfections, so I decided to buy the full size product and I spent.. uh, around €120? It was a present from my mom so I'm not really sure! Thats probably the highest I've ever spent on make-up/beauty! I think they're worth it, although I bet there you can find better products at the same price.
As for the consistency and colour, they're both white, but the serum is more liquid in comparison to the Hydramax + Active gel cream and they both apply beautifully. They take no time to absorb as well.
I'm definitely sticking with these until I find products that suit me best! What are your opinions? Have you ever tried Chanel beauty products?
