G&G A21 Grey (Dueba/Barbie)

I recently got a pair of G&G A21 Grey circle lenses from PinkyParadise.com and I finally have the time to share my thoughts on them with you. The lenses, as usual, came in two glass vials; the package also included a cute lens case.

Design wise, the G&G A21 Gray are very simple. They have a black or dark gray thick outer rim; the colour gradually fades towards the center of the lens, which is transparent. This way, the natural colour of the iris can peek through, giving a nice effect. Although liking the simple design, I have to admit that they're not the most comfortable lenses, nor the best looking on me. Since they're very large (14.0mm) and have a consistent base curve (8.6mm), they give me the dreaded "frog eye" effect. In the photos below I'm not wearing any make-up except for a coat of mascara - maybe with some eyeliner and a pair of falsies they'd look better. For the same reasons, they're not what I'd call a comfortable lens: I had a hard time putting them on, and once I was wearing them I could feel them on my eyes. I'm always very careful with circle lenses because if I feel like they are uncomfortable I'm scared they'll hurt my eyes, so I wore these only for short periods of time. Maybe it's me, but I haven't been able to find any comfortable circle lens for the past few months! Can you recommend any?

My Christmas in photos

petitfaon

A Ladurée recipe book that my friends gave to me as a Christmas present, German chocolates from my aunt, staying in bed all morning and reading, the best present ever!, my Christmas outfit - kind of.

I recently signed up to Instagram and I've been loving it so far! Unfortunately I have to post from my Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet because my phone is a Blackberry and Instagram is not available for Blackberrys. I usually post pictures from my phone on Molome! I'm planning on getting an iPhone for my birthday though :)

I hope you're all having a great holiday season! ♡

Lioele L'cret Miracle lipstick

Remember this post? Well, I finally got the chance to try the Lioele L'cret Miracle lipstick! I was so interested in trying these out because they change colour once you apply them! I got one in #4 Neat Yellow and one in #03 Fresh Green from Keautystore.

I don't know why, but the two lipsticks have different packaging! I really like both. I'm regretting I got both though, because they look pretty similar on the lips. They both come out clear, just like a lipbalm; after a few seconds, they react to the heat of your body and turn to a pinkish red shade. They look like a stain, but they definitely don't last as much. They have the texture, the lasting power and the glossy finish of a lipbalm, but they look like a stain. The photos on the website look a bit deceiving, now that I think about it (but it's like this with 99% of Asian make-up, so no big deal.. I'm used to it)
They don't have any scent, which is nice.

I've been carrying these in my bag for a few weeks now and I've been using them as lipbalms - they're perfect for moisturizing and giving a flush of colour to the lips. Plus, they're definitely not as boring as a Labello lipbalm! ;)
The only downside is the price. For what they do (they're basically lipbalms), they're not worth the $10.20 they retail for on Keautystore. They're fun and cute to look at, and if you have some money to spend on "silly" things like these, I'd suggest you try them. If you're just looking for a lipbalm or lipstain, there are plenty other products to try - such as Tonymoly Petite Bunny Glossy Bars that I'm totally in love with.

Nature Republic Shine Blossom Rose Blusher - #2 Coral Rose

I got this Nature Republic Shine Blossom Rose Blusher in #2 Coral Rose from KollectionK a few weeks ago and even though I'm not much of a blush person, I decided to give this product a go.

Photobucket

The blush comes in a very pretty cardboard box and inside a sturdy tin. It comes with a little powder puff applicator (which, even though it's the cutest thing ever, I'll never use because it's not very hygienic). The first thing you notice when you open the tin is the scent. The product has a very heavy rose scent, it's almost sickening. It goes away after you apply it, but still it's a bit too strong for me! (There's a reason if they called it Shine Blossom Rose, after all.)
The shade is a light corally peach colour and the finish is matte. It doesn't feel powdery or cakey; it's pigmented enough, but it's not insanely pigmented - it takes about 3 application for it to show how I want it to show. It looks quite natural on the skin, as well.

Overall, it's a nice blush, but it hasn't impressed me as much as the other Nature Republic product I tried from KollectionK! This blush is currently on sale for $6.86 on KollectionK.. go check it out if you're interested :)

Etude House My Dear Essence in Lips-talk - EBE101

Good evening everyone :) sorry for being a bit MIA these past few days, but I've been super busy! I finally got my driving licence yesterday and I'm so happy I can't even.
Today I'm excited to talk you about a lovely product by Etude House. I got a My Dear Essence in Lips-talk (longest name ever) in EBE101 from KeautyStore, which some of you maybe know as LiliesShop.

The packaging is gorgeous as everything from Etude House: the lipstick is housed in a light pink pen-shaped case. I usually enjoy "twist-up" make-up, but this one let me down a bit. It's probably my fault, but I twisted up a few times and I think it broke, so now it doesn't go down anymore. It still goes up, but it's a bit annoying, no? The shade I chose is a browny pink, which I absolutely love because it's the perfect "my lips but better" colour. Especially now that I have braces (sigh) I don't like to draw attention on my lips, but I still like to wear something - so this lipstick it's perfect for that. It has a satin finish and it feels very velvety and moisturizing on the lips. It doesn't cling to dry bits as well, so it's great for this time of the year.

If you have tried the Etude House Blooming Lips-Talk, the formula is almost the same, but I prefer this one because it's a bit less dry. It lasts about two to three hours, then it starts to fade and blend with my natural lip colour.
I'm absolutely pleased by this product and I'd get some more if it wasn't for the damaged packaging! If you want to try it for yourself, there are loads of different shades on KeautyStore! Remember to use the code blog115 for 5% off your purchase :)
