Although they have a very big diameter and are a bit tricky to put on, they are really comfortable. I couldn't even feel them!
I love lenses without thick black rims because they look way more natural. In fact, all the Hana Aurora Glossy Violet do is add a bit of violet to my iris and a bit of enlargement, and that's all. They're not obvious, and I like that in a lens. These are one of the few lenses that don't do the "frog eye" look on me! I am glad I got these and although they're not from a brand as popular as GEO, I do recommend them!

Tonymoly Petite Bunny Glossy Bar

 photo tonymoly_zps11313c71.png
Ever since I've received one in a swap, I've been in love with Tonymoly Petite Bunny Glossy Bars. First of all, their packaging - how cute is that? Each shade -and there are 7 of them- has got a bunny shaped cap with a cute little face on it. That was the main reason I bought it, and I didn't expect much by the product itself - I just wanted it because it looked so nice! But then I tried it and I discovered that the texture is amazingly moisturizing. The gloss also leaves a natural but very bright tone on your lips. I have been looking for a product like this for ages! Moreover, they're scented. It's not a strong scent, but it's pleasant :) I was the happiest person in the world when I got the second one as a surprise extra in a swap! I am really determined to get them all. :)

GEO Blue Twin Circle Lenses

About a month ago I received a pair of GEO Blue Twin circle lens from Lens Circle, and I'm so sorry to had them waiting for so long! Anyway I'm ready to review the lenses now! The lenses came in a very trashy leopard print pouch ;) not exactly my style but I'll find a use for it anyway. Lens Circle also included a lens care instruction card, which I think is very handy for people who are trying circle lenses for the first time!
The diameter of the Blue Twin lenses is not huge, it's approximately as big as my iris; that makes it look more natural. These lenses would look very nice on me if they weren't so curved! The high base curve makes the obnoxious "frog eye" effect as many other lenses do on me, unfortunately. Maybe they would fit almond-shaped eyes better. Comfort wise, they're pretty average; the fact that they're not very big makes them easier to wear. Design-wise, they're nothing special; those who are not looking for eye enlargement in a lens could be ok with this lens.

Some Mail Love #6

Photobucket

After waiting so long -the Italian mail is so slow-, on Monday I finally got the two swaps I was waiting! One was from Rosie who lives in the US. I really can't thank her enough. She's so awesome! She contacted me about a month ago on MakeUpAlley for a lipstick I'd listed there and I picked a NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo from her list (I'm going to review that in a different post!). In the package she also included a few samples that I'm really looking forward to try and two rings!! Isn't she amazing?

The other swap was from Adrienne from The Sunday Girl. I've been reading her blog for a while now and I was so happy to get the chance to do a swap with her :) She got me 4 Revlon Lip Butters, which I've been wanting to try for such a long time! Swapping for them or getting them online was the only way I could get them, because of course they're not sold here in Italy! I got Macaroon, Raspberry Pie, Berry Smoothie and Peach Parfait. I'm in love with them!

ELF Mineral Lipstick in Rich Raspberry

Photobucket

On March 23d I ordered a few things from ELF out of boredom and received them after about a week. It was my very first purchase from their website and I ordered just a few products to test it out. The one I've probably liked the most was the Mineral lipstick in Rich Raspberry. I wasn't expecting much from ELF since the prices are so low, but this lipstick definitely changed my opinion!

First of all, I paid €4 for it. The colour is a deep red and I like to pat it on my lips with my fingers rather than applying it straight from the bullet; I think it looks more natural. It's very buildable though, so you can choose how intense you want the colour to be by appling more than one layer. This lipstick gives a matte effect without being too stiff, in fact the application is very easy. It's actually a very pretty lipstick for its price. I'll definitely include another lipstick from this range in my next ELF haul!
